Sometimes you just have to stop for a while and appreciate millions of simple things that surround you. That's when you can say, "life is wonderful".

What’s worth the happies today?

June 2, 2009

I miss Boiffie much. Wasn’t able to have lunch with him last night because I am too much soaked up with work I can’t leave my workplace (until now). I arrived past 7pm at teh office, I had dinner at home, the mother grilled pork belly and it was AWESOME. I wish she cooks more than the usual. The Boiffie bought me garden salad and it was so sweet of him *heart heart*, but yeah, though I asked him to buy me the salad, it was still sweet. Teeheee.

I will be working night shift for two weeks and that means two things: [1] it’d be great because it’s two weeks worth of NALA lunch with Boiffie, in addition to every night’s dinner, and [2] the schedule will take a toll on my body and my body will suffer. Meh.

I think I’ve been productive today. I think.

Early, I scrolled my plurk page up to the first plurk. It took me more or less 15mins. Yes. I know. That could have been a productive 15 minutes.

Hmm. I think that’s all for now. I go home nao.. And sleep. And rest. Later will be another day. Yay another chance to excel, to improve, to prove.

And oh btw, I thank you *yes you you* for helping me find the drive I’ve been looking for. I am excited much for the heads on duel. LOL. Teeeheee.

Happy day everyone! :)

Before May ends

June 1, 2009

I know. It’s such a shame I have not updated my happy blog for so long. I am sorry my dear readers (parang ang daming readers ah hahaha)

So what now? Hmm. Hello again. LOL. Today marks Boiffie and I’s fourth month. Weee. I know it’s not long enuff but hey that’s already the start :D wee excited much for more months to come.

Yesterday, my Boiffie met the mom. Wee I am so glad my mom likes him. (heart heart heart) I wonder when Boiffie will be taking me to meet his parents. I hope it’d be soon. I’m getting impatient here LOL.

After dinner, Boiffie  and I went to Eastwood to see Terminator Salvation. We arrived before 10pm and we bought tickets for the 11:20pm screening. To while away the time, we strolled at the Eastwood mall. We looked for a denim skirt because I am planning to buy one. Then we bought yoghurt at Red Mango. I tried the green tea yoghurt with mango, kiwi and peaches toppings. YUMYUM much! Then we went walking at the area where the little dancing fountain is situated. We stayed there for a while, we watched the fountain dance, so cute not much of an entertainment but an entertainment nonetheless. Then we realized it was 11:15 already, late much for the movie! We walked really fast to get to the cinema. Good thing the movie has not started yet, we even catched the trailers.

Uhmm about the movie: the mom said earlier that evening that Terminator Salvation is a bore! Knowing my mom’s taste with movies, I really took the second thoughts before buying the tickets. I actually considered watching Night at the Museum 2 instead. But Boiffie wants to see Terminator so there, we watched Terminator. And it’s AWESOME! I am not a fan of the Terminator movies but hey I lurve it! One because Christian Bale (The Dark Knight)  played the role of John Connor, two because the movie really rocks bigtime! I wonder if my mom was sleeping when she saw the movie LOL

(And I just came back from reading stuff about John Connor from Wikipedia, now I want to watch all the past Terminator movies)

So there, I guess I will get back to you when there’s more happies to write.

Yey.

Happy fourth month bebe, love you much! :D

Happiness

April 9, 2009

I S   S O M E T H I N G

Y O U   A L W A Y S

C H O O S E   I N   A D V A N C E.

I just got back from a 3days-2nights Pagudpud-Laoag-Vigan trip with boiffie Aaron. Pagudpud is really 100% awesome. I love the sand and all.

Hmm, what else? I enjoyed the beach, and the beach, and lastly, the beach. I swear I want to go back there and drown in the sun and water. Aaron was laughing at me because I want to get tan but the sun was not cooperating - it come and it go and I was really praying for a hot beach-ing. I was so stubborn I really didn’t want to move unless I got these tan lines all over my body. But yeah, I did get tan lines. Tanning successful, yey! I feel like a bronze princess now. :P

Also, I missed eating crab. I so like to eat crab, I was craving for it since the moment we arrived. On our first dinner, unfortunately, the resto we went to ran out of crabs so I had lobsters instead. Gawd, the food there? Really, it’s delicious. All too appetizing. I will make a separate post about the food. I promise. ;)

More details of the trip to follow.

I am excited for more trips with Aaron. We are planning to go to Anawangin and Calaguas. And we will be inviting friends. Yey! You want to come? :P

Til next post!

What Made Me Smile Today #18

February 25, 2009

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Usher, Usher.

Haha forgive the lame intro. I was dancing Usher earlier and the song got stuck in my head.  Anyhoo, the daily list continues:

  • I woke up early today and an email from boiffie greeted me. Attached in the email is this:
  • Finally, the stitches in my knee were removed. Yey.

February 24, 2009

Hello there dearest readers! :) Here’s my list for today:

  •  I finished my eight gym visits for this month. Yey! :) Next month ulit.
  • Boiffie bought me KK original glazed and fruit shake. He was not able to buy the right fruit combination - my favorite is pineapple+apple+watermelon - but like what the old saying says, “it’s the thought that counts” <3
  • Went to Makati for id-pictyooooring. Yey I’m gonna have my id replacement tomorrow! (dance)
  • Saw Aldrin, one of  my college blockmates, after a looooooong time. It’s always nice to see old friends.
  • Dinner at Red Ribbon with Boiffie. I have been craving for mashed potato since two weeks ago. I ate salisbury steak because that’s the only meal that comes with a serving of mashed potato.
  • After dinner, we dropped by the supermarket and bought a pint of Magnolia strawberry ice cream. Yey! Another craving since last week. <3

So how was your day? Have you collected your own happies, too? :) C’mon, share them. :)

What Made Me Smile Today #16

February 23, 2009

This is not really a wonderful day but I need to look at it like it is a wonderful day so I wouldn’t feel sad about wasting it.

  • I’m not really productive but at least I accomplished a task that is long bothering me since first weekof Feb. Finally I was able to pinpoint which stuff is causing the problematic rendering of pages in IE6+. Yey.
  • I bought a new body spray. At Herbench. I know I said I wouldn’t buy bench-related fragrances again. Don’t remind me. Lol.
  • BreadTalk is 100% Love.
  • Technofied.net, Technopink.net’s brother, is up. And I so like the theme. the newest addition to our blogpool looks promising. *crossing my fingers*
  • I planned to file vacation leave on Wednesday and Thursday. I might be going somewhere far to do a lot of writing. I need to reconnect with myself. Travelling alone excites me. In case, this week’s will be my first solo travel.
  • Speaking of writing, I have a script to finish and lots of stories to start. I am excited for output. I’m also thrilled to have Mica read my story that I plan to film in which I would like to cast her and a blogger guy.
  • Also, I am motivating myself to blog sincerely. I mean, blog just like before. No matter how nonsensical the topics are, the thing is I blog. It makes sense anyway.

So there, I have to go now and take a good sleep. I have been running up and about the past weekend and it drained all my energy.

See ya tomorrow. :)

January 12, 2009
I just came back from having dinner with my teammates Mike, Kot and Sharon. We ate at Kenny’s. I promised myself not to eat rice and I was successful at my first attempt. Yehey! :) Funny thing is, I avoided rice but I ate two side dishes, cheesy potato and chicken macaroni (I have been craving for chicken macaroni since early this morning) and a quarter of roasted chicken. o_O Diet scheme fail! Haha
Anyhoo, here’s last week’s collection of happies:
  • Payday! Heeee

  • Tomato and Herb Linguine at CBTL
  • Night out with my friend Mica
  • Three new domains
  • Cooking! I’ve been doing a lot of cooking recently. :) And it feels so good. Especially if there’s someone who’d appreciate the deed.

The list continues this year:
